Tuition and Financial Policy

Review Jeel School’s tuition and financial policy, which outlines the fee structure for each level, flexible payment options, approved discount policies such as Qur’an memorization and sibling discounts, and refund procedures.

First: Introduction and General Framework

This document sets out the approved financial policy at Jeel International School regarding tuition fees, payment mechanisms, refund policies, and approved discounts. This policy stems from the school’s commitment to the principles of transparency, fairness, and shared financial responsibility between the family and the institution.
Enrollment in the school represents a contractual commitment by the parent/guardian to complete the full academic year and pay the full agreed fees according to the selected payment option. This policy is announced in the admissions bulletin and the enrollment contract, and no financial clause may be invoked if the parent/guardian was not explicitly informed of it before completing enrollment.

This policy aims to:

Define tuition fees with full transparency by grade level
Ensure the parent/guardian’s right to full review of financial obligations before enrollment
Provide flexible payment options that take families’ circumstances into account
Regulate the discount policy using objective and transparent standards
Comply with Cognia standards related to learner protection and institutional transparency

Fifth: Admissions, Enrollment, and Refund Policies

1. Graduated refund schedule

Registering a student at Jeel International School Online is a contractual commitment to complete the full academic year. Registration fees, admission fees, and any financial matters paid by the parent/guardian are never refundable except as stated in this document in cases of approved force majeure documented under this policy or international norms. Refund percentages apply only to tuition fees as agreed in this document. A student’s departure, withdrawal, or absence does not exempt them from completing tuition installments through the end of the academic year. Installments are a means to facilitate payment of the agreed annual amount and are not a subscription, and they may not be stopped under any circumstances except with the school’s approval after completing the necessary requirements.
In accepted withdrawal cases (approved and documented force majeure cases under the withdrawal policy), the following refund rates apply:

Time period

The refund schedule above applies only in accepted, documented withdrawal cases under the withdrawal policy.
Undocumented withdrawal does not entitle the parent/guardian to claim any refund.

Sixth: Late Payment Policy

If any financial dues are not paid on time, the following escalating measures apply:

Phase

Timing

Action

1

3 days after the due date

Automated reminder notification via email and the parent/guardian portal

2

3

14 days after the due date

Direct contact from the finance administration to arrange an urgent settlement

4

30 days after the due date

Activation of admission cancellation procedures in accordance with the policy, with written notice to the parent/guardian

Issuance of academic records will not be suspended for stages in which the student has met their financial obligations, due to later outstanding financial obligations.
Suspension of educational access does not constitute termination of the contract and does not waive the financial obligation.
The parent/guardian has the right at any stage to contact the finance administration to arrange a settlement plan.

Seventh: Confidentiality and Protection of Financial Data

The school is committed to protecting families’ financial data within the following framework:
Financial data is stored on secure, encrypted servers and is accessed only by authorized personnel.
Financial data is not shared with third parties except with the parent/guardian’s explicit consent or pursuant to a court order.
A financial records retention policy is applied for 7 years from the date enrollment ends.
The parent/guardian has the right at any time to view their financial record via the electronic portal.
Electronic payment processing is subject to the approved security standards of the licensed payment provider.

Eighth: Policy Approval and Review

This policy is reviewed annually before the start of each academic year. Any material change to the fee structure or refund terms requires the General Director’s approval and is documented in the release log.
Any material changes are communicated to enrolled families with notice of no less than 30 days before they take effect.
